IMMERSION AT A GLANCE

PANORAMIC PHOTOGRAPHY

AND 360° TOURS

Seeing a space from within is often the fastest way to understand it. This section documents our practical exploration of panoramic photography and 360° environments as a visual and spatial research format.

Panoramas and virtual tours allow one to observe space holistically — its proportions, transitions, light and logic of movement. Beyond visual appeal, this format helps study how perception, navigation and context influence trust and understanding.

Rather than treating panoramas as isolated images, we approach them as structured spatial narratives. A 360° environment is not just a picture — it is a sequence, a script and a way of guiding attention.

FORMATS
WE EXPLORE

  • 360° PHOTO PANORAMAS
    ■ Ground-based and aerial experiments

    ■ High-resolution imagery and careful post-processing

    ■ Adaptation for different digital contexts
  • 3D/ 360° ENVIRONMENTS
    ■ Assembly of multiple viewpoints with transitions

    ■ Navigation logic, information points and spatial cues

    ■ Adaptation for mobile devices and VR viewing
  • 360° VIDEO
    ■ Continuous movement through space

    ■ Presence and motion as part of perception

    ■ Use as an immersive visual fragment or background

WHY?

Panoramic environments help explore how people perceive space without intermediaries. They reduce the gap between observation and understanding and make complex environments easier to read.

This format is especially useful when it is important to:
■ observe a space as a whole rather than through fragments,
■ reduce assumptions and explanations,
■ study openness, scale and spatial logic visually.

WHAT IS
A 3D TOUR

A virtual tour is a way to move through a digital space freely.

The viewer can rotate the camera, transition between points and explore an interior or territory from any device.
ALLOWS US TO STUDY:
■ how navigation affects perception,
■ how details guide attention,
■ how spatial openness influences trust.

PROCESS
AS PRACTICE

OBSERVATION
and analysis of the space.
SELECTION
of viewpoints and transitions.
SHOOTING
and assembly of the environment.
REFINEMENT
of navigation and visual logic.
The emphasis is placed on preparation and structure, allowing the final result to remain clear, lightweight and consistent.
